Accessibility
ToolTileyRad is run by me, Darryl Weeks, as an individual. I aim to make the site usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This page explains what I do and what I do not promise.
What I Aim For
I try to follow accessibility good practices so that the site works with:
- Keyboard navigation: Core actions (links, buttons, tool controls) can be reached and used with the keyboard.
- Clear structure: Headings and landmarks are used so screen readers and assistive tech can navigate.
- Contrast and readability: Text and controls are designed to be readable, and the site offers a light/dark theme.
- Resizable text: You can zoom or adjust text size in your browser; the layout is intended to respond reasonably.
- Labels and focus: Buttons and inputs have labels or accessible names where possible, and focus is visible.
I reference guidelines such as WCAG 2.1 where practicable, but I am a single operator and do not perform formal audits or certifications.
What I Do Not Promise
I do not guarantee that ToolTileyRad fully meets any particular standard (for example, WCAG 2.1 Level AA or AAA). The site may have gaps or limitations. I do not warrant that every tool or page will work with every assistive technology or device.
If You Have Trouble
If you run into a barrier or have trouble using any part of the site, please contact me. I will make reasonable efforts to help or to address the issue where feasible. I can be reached at darryl@darrylweeks.com.
Mobile, ads, and layout
Pages are built to be responsive, but third-party ads load after the initial HTML and can affect vertical space on small screens. Core controls are kept away from ad regions on purpose. If an ad or banner ever covers a button or input on your device, note your browser version and send a message via Contact Us so it can be investigated.
For your own checks after updates, try navigating several tool pages using only the keyboard (Tab / Shift+Tab) and use the “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page.
Feedback
Suggestions for improving accessibility are welcome. I cannot promise to implement every request, but I will consider them. Thank you for using ToolTileyRad.
