Frequently Asked Questions

Is ToolTileyRad really free?

Yes. All tools on ToolTileyRad are free to use. There are no paywalls, no premium accounts, and no limits on how often you can run a tool. The site is supported by carefully placed ads so that the tools themselves can stay free.

Do I need an account to use the tools?

No account is required. You can open any tool page and start using it immediately. ToolTileyRad does not ask you to sign up, log in, or share your name or email before using the utilities.

What happens to the text or data I enter?

For tools like the Text Case Converter, Word & Character Counter, timers, and many others, everything you type is handled directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your input is not sent to our server and is not stored by ToolTileyRad.

Some tools use third-party libraries loaded from trusted content delivery networks (CDNs), but your actual input stays on your device. When you refresh the page or close your browser tab, most tools forget what you previously entered.

Is it safe to paste sensitive information?

Even though most processing is local to your browser, you should always follow your own security and compliance guidelines. For highly sensitive information (for example, production API keys, passwords, financial data, or regulated personal information), it is best practice to use test or anonymized data instead of real values when working with any online tool.

Which tools store information between visits?

A few tools, such as the Simple Notepad, use your browser’s local storage to remember content between visits. This means your notes are saved on your device only and are not synced to a server.

  • If you clear your browser data or switch devices, those locally stored notes will not follow you.
  • Local storage is specific to a single browser and device combination.

What browsers and devices are supported?

ToolTileyRad works best on modern browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and other Chromium-based browsers. The layout is responsive, so you can use the tools on desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones as long as JavaScript is enabled.

Why are there ads on the site?

Ads help keep ToolTileyRad free to use. Ad placements follow Google AdSense policies and are kept separate from the interactive parts of each tool to avoid accidental clicks or confusion. A Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) is used to collect and respect your advertising and privacy choices.

Can I use these tools for work or commercial projects?

Yes. You are welcome to use the tools to speed up everyday tasks, formatting content, checking text length, generating UUIDs, debugging JSON, and more. The tools are provided as a convenience and do not replace formal testing or review, so you should always verify important results before deploying them to production systems.

How does Google Consent Mode work here?

Pages that use Google Analytics or related measurement load tags with Google Consent Mode defaults: ad storage, ad personalization, and analytics storage start as denied until you provide consent where a consent banner or certified CMP is required (for example, in many European regions), or as otherwise allowed by your settings. Details and official documentation links are in the Privacy Policy.

Should I click ads to support the site?

No. Never click advertisements on purpose just to support ToolTileyRad. Artificial, repeated, bot-driven, or incentivized ad engagement violates advertiser policies, harms advertisers, and is explicitly prohibited in the Terms of Service. Use a tool when you need it, that is the right way to get value from the site.

How “random” are the coin flip and number generators?

They use normal browser randomness, which is fine for games, classroom demos, and casual decisions. They are not certified for cryptography, regulated gambling, or security-critical sampling. For those cases, use systems designed and audited for that purpose.

Do the date calculators handle time zones or legal business days?

Date tools work with calendar dates in your browser’s local context. They do not encode every national holiday rule or cross-border “business day” definition. For legal, payroll, or compliance deadlines, confirm the details with authoritative sources or a qualified professional.

Why is each tool page so long?

Short pages with only a widget and almost no explanation are hard for visitors to trust and easy for automated review systems to classify as low value. ToolTileyRad pages include instructions, examples, limitations, and privacy notes specific to that tool so you know what you are using and when not to rely on it.

How do I report a bug or request a new tool?

If you spot something that looks wrong or have an idea for a new utility, please visit the Contact Us page. You can also reach out using the email address listed there. Clear examples, screenshots, or sample inputs make it easier to understand and fix issues.
