About TTRPG Dice Roller
This tool rolls polyhedral dice the way tabletop RPGs like D&D use them. You pick the die type (d4 through d100), how many to roll, and get each individual result plus the total—no animations, just the numbers.
How to Use This Tool
- Add dice by clicking the buttons (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100). Each click adds one die of that type. Click d20 twice for 2d20, then d8 once for 1d8—you can mix any combination.
- Your current pool is shown above the Roll button. Use the − on a chip to remove one of that die, or Clear pool to start over.
- Click Roll to roll everything in the pool. You’ll see each die’s result by type and a Total.
- After rolling, you can add more dice and roll again, or clear and build a new pool.
What Each Die Is
- d4: Four-sided (1–4). Common for small damage.
- d6: Six-sided (1–6). Standard cube die.
- d8: Eight-sided (1–8). Used for weapon damage and spells.
- d10: Ten-sided (1–10). Often used with another d10 for d100.
- d12: Twelve-sided (1–12). Used for some weapons and effects.
- d20: Twenty-sided (1–20). Used for attacks and ability checks in D&D.
- d100: Hundred-sided (1–100). Percentiles or special tables.
Example
Add two d20s and one d8 (click d20 twice, d8 once), then Roll. You might see: d20: 14, 7 — d8: 3 — Total: 24. Each number is one die; the total is the sum of all dice.
